In this role, your deep product knowledge and extensive industry experience will be instrumental in understanding market dynamics, identifying customer needs, and analyzing the competitive landscape. You will gather and translate these critical market, partner, and customer insights into valuable contributions that shape our product marketing strategies, influence the product roadmap, and fuel the development of compelling training content. By championing the voice of our partners and the market, you’ll ensure our solutions and messaging resonate effectively.

What will you be doing on a day-to-day basis?
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and unmet customer needs.
- Identify and evaluate potential new market segments and opportunities for expansion.
- Present market analysis findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including product management, sales, and executive leadership, in a clear and concise manner.
- Analyze market size, segmentation, and growth potential for our products.
- Monitor and analyze competitor products, strategies, pricing, and market share to identify threats and opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and articulate our competitive advantages.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy Development & Execution:
- Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing product enhancements.
- Contribute to defining target audiences, positioning, messaging, and value propositions based on market research and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Marketing) to ensure successful GTM execution.
- Assist in the development and management of launch plans, including timelines, resources, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Customer & Partner Insights:
- Leverage your extensive partner network and industry knowledge to gather insights that inform partner personas, understand their needs, motivations, and challenges.
- Gather qualitative feedback from customers and partners on product concepts, messaging, and market needs through interviews, on-site discussions, focus groups, and other feedback channels
- Analyze customer feedback and market research data to identify key insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Develop a strong understanding of the customer journey and identify opportunities to improve engagement and satisfaction.
- Analyze customer feedback and behavior based on datapoints to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points. Work with the Product and Dev team to ensure the proper data is available.
- Roadmap Influence:
- Act as the voice of the market and customer, providing data-driven insights to influence the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize features and functionalities based on market demand and competitive analysis.
- Communicate market opportunities and customer needs to the product team to ensure alignment with market requirements.
- Lead Development of Training Video Content & Support Knowledge Creation
- Act as a key resource for translating technical product information and updates into clear, user-friendly messaging for training purposes.
- Take a primary role in conceptualizing, scripting, and producing engaging and effective training video content (tutorials, product demos, feature overviews) for internal teams, partners, and end-users.
- Collaborate with the Product Marketing team and other departments on related written documentation (guides, FAQs, knowledge base articles) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- You can demonstrate a strong ability to translate complex market data and research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights that inform product strategy, messaging, and go-to-market decisions.
- You can proficiently utilize a variety of analytical tools and methodologies to gather, interpret, and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior, proactively identifying opportunities and risks.
- You can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to share market intelligence and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- You consistently produce high-quality, engaging training video content that measurably improves product understanding for users and partners
- Your industry insights and feedback from partners and customers demonstrably contribute to refining product messaging and influence roadmap decisions.
Top Candidates will demonstrate the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the POS/payments or technology industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of product marketing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A good understanding of communication/messaging tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pendo
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with product management methodologies.
- Knowledge of the payments industry and emerging trends (e.g., mobile payments, contactless technology).
